Zamzar, a free online conversion tool, allows any internet user to convert any file type (videos, images, or documents) online without downloading anything. So why use this? Well, other than converting file types, you can use Zamzar to download YouTube videos to your desired file type. So if you want to download a YouTube video for you video iPod for example, Zamzar will do it for you in 4 easy steps. The download link will then be sent to the email address that you have entered in.

When I tested Zamzar for the first time, I got the results that people would expect from seeing this video and the Zamzar site. Everything was so easy and perfect. To download a YouTube video, all I did was enter the URL of the video, then I chose the desired converted format (.mov), put in my email address, and clicked Convert. I got a result saying that they will email me my download link as soon as possible, depending on how large the file is. But as I checked my email, it was already there. I clicked on my download link, and boom, there it was downloading my video. After the download I opened the file. It played perfectly as if it was converted with a $100 application.
