YouTube has launched its new feature called YouTube Remixer, a flash-based service that allows users to edit their YouTube videos online. How is this possible? Well YouTube has incorporated Adobe Premiere Express on this editor allowing the support of inserting graphics, text, audio/sounds, and transitions. You might say to yourself “Why do I need this?” This service is currently ideal for users that don’t have video-editing softwares or those who are just not computer-savvy. Since Remixer is currently in beta you won’t find a lot of features. If you check it out, you’ll see some graphics that you think are not….well let’s just say that they won’t interest a lot of people. For example they have graphics like sunglasses, hats, crowns….who needs to put these on their videos? To finish off, all I can say is that YouTube is doing a nice job on incorporating something like this. Most people don’t need it, but those “some people” do.
