How to Use MySpace to Find Niches
Here is a video I found that shows one way to promote your site (NOT BY SPAMMING). With MySpace, a service called “Groups” connects people with similar interests and hobbies. You can use these groups to find people that would be interested in your site to increase site traffic.

Excellent blog and idea. I might actually test it out as I am often building other niche sites and cross promoting.
