Social marketing may be hot ways to get instant traffic, but the traffic usually don’t last long. If you social with the wrong people in the wrong niche, you may end up wasting time.
I think before doing social marketing, you need to find out who you will be socializing with. Focus on your conversion rate is the first thing in my opinion.

I’m going to have to agree with you that social media is rising as a dominant force online, but search engines still produce the best conversions and generally have the most quality traffic.
