Theme Writing

Do you watch much TV? Of course a lot of bloggers have little time to catch shows these days with the increasing competition for eyeballs we have little time for “entertainment”. However, there is much that can be learned from TV that can benefit your blog.

One of the most popular, long standing formats for TV is the weekly show. Whether it is a drama, a comedy, reality TV, a story that is spread over several weeks is such a popular format that it has been with us almost since the inception of TV.

Why not apply the same technique to your blog - pick a particular day of the week and blog the same topic every week, expanding on your topic as you go. Plan the posts out in advance and you can end each post with a teaser for what is coming next week. A great way to ensure that readers are engaged and keep coming back to your blog.

I have k4 ,k7 and k9 students, I wonder if you have good topics for a theme writing. I appreciate if you can suggest topics. Thank you so much.

Interesting idea, I think I'll try to do such series at one of my blogs.

This is a great concept that I've used a number of times on my blog. Things like "Throwback Thursday" where every Thursday you'll have a post about something old school. A fun way to get everyone excited.
