There is now a new name in town when it comes to text link advertising (and selling). I first heard about it on the DP forum when a post was made by them claiming to give free links from 5,000 quality websites. On the thread, TNX (pronounced “thanks”), which is what the service is called, posted a quick review about who they were all about.
With the help of TNX System you are able to get large amounts of non-reciprocal links from thousands of relevant websites: In just few minutes you can order thousands of links from high quality Internet resources. Links can be placed on main pages as well as on individual, deep pages of websites that either have few other outbond links or no links at all.
Sound like any other text link exchange/broker? Well, according to them it’s not. At first, everything seemed confusing when it came to figuring out how the system works. The one thing I can tell you is that this is a unique and easy way to advertise and make money from TNX. Here’s how I intrepret it:
For Advertisers
Advertisers and webmasters can easily and quickly improve their site ranking in search engines just by increasing non-reciprocal links from thousands of websites. With TNX, you can buy links that will help with that. Since those websites are relevant, you will recieve real targeted traffic. The prices of the links are suppose to be the lowest in the market, starting at $11/month for up to 10,000 links.
For Publishers
Just like any other text link network, you can earn money by selling links on every page of your website. Easily add in a static code somewhere in your site, and the links will automatically show in a few minutes. What really turns me down though is the fact that the price for each link depends on the site’s Google PageRank for each page, its link popularity, and number of outbound links. You can have a quick income check by using their Income Calculator on the left side of their home page. Because my dsite’s domain is new, it doesn’t have a PageRank yet. So when I tried the calculator to see how much I would be making, I got these results:

Yes, for selling 4 links (the maximum), my site is suppose to make only $5.96/month. As you can see that’s really low. That’s why PageRank and link poularity really play a big role in this network. Maybe we should look for another way to make money from TNX, and that’s with their affiliate program. Whenever you refer a new user to TNX, you can earn yourself 13.3% of all the “TNX points” they will get in the future. What are TNX Points? That’s where I got confused as well.
So here’s a quick rundown with what you can do with your TNX points.
- transfer them between members
- sell them ($0.64 for every 1000 points)
- use them for advertising (1 point=1 link)
This point system has to be the reason why TNX is going to get bigger in the long run. With already 28, 333 members as of the time and date this article was written, TNX has to be doing something right. They have already sold over 30 million text links and growing each and every day. Compared to other text link networks, this is something you must try. Even if your not making much money from it, it is still a good idea to try their point system to earn some free advertisement. You have nothing to lose, so if you haven’t signed up yet, go ahead and head over to TNX and register!

The only thing that didnt impress me was that we are not left to select the advertiser, and we dont know where we are buying links from.
