Grand Central - One Number To Rule Them All

Got a landline phone? Cell-phone? Work-phone? Any other kind of phone? With this free service called Grand Central you can blend together the internet and your phones. What exactly do I mean? Well, imagine using only 1 number for all of your phones. You might be saying, “Why would I want to do that?” That’s not what you should be thinking about. It just gets more and more interesting.
Not only does Grand Central consolidate all your phone numbers into one, but it also has so many great features that make it a great service. For example, like I have just said, it has a feature that lets you choose which people or which certain phone numbers would be directed to which of your phones. Or another great feature is that you can set one voicemail for every phone number. Not only can you do that, but you can also listen to them online. In fact, you can keep track of all your calls and records online too.
Those few features not enough for you? Here’s a few more:
- Address Book- this is where you put all the phone numbers of all the people you know. Don’t like telemarketers? Block their phone number in the address book!
- Webcall- allow internet users to call you online without ever exposing your phone number. Put the WebCall widget on your site or blog and whenever internet users click on it, expect a call!
- Record calls- on the phone with someone and decide that you want to record the conversation? Just press 4 at any time and the conversation will begin to be recorded.
- RingShare- normally when someone calls a number, they hear a ring. With RingShare, upload your own sounds or songs that will play whenever people call you! If you want certain people to hear certain songs, remember, you can set up anyone in your address book to do just about anything you want.
There are just so many great features of Grand Central that you should just go check it out for yourselves. Just remember that if you can’t handle all these cool features, you might be better off sticking with what you already got.
