Apple has reported record earnings for the third Quarter for fiscal year 2010, and company revenues surpassed analyst expectations, raking in $15.7 million revenue and making a profit of $3.35 billion.

Apple sold 3.47 million Macs in the quarter, a new record. On top of that, they sold 3.27 million iPads and a whopping 8.4 million iPhones.

Earlier today, Apple held a press event where they addressed the antenna issues with the iPhone 4, and they pretty much said that most major phones exhibit reception issues when held a certain way. Apple will offer refunds to those who want it, while others can get a free iPhone 4 bumper case (which retails at $30).

Apple is facing big issues with iPhone 4s antenna issues, and even the popular car show Top Gear has taken a funny swing at it.

Consumer Reports has tested the iPhone 4 in its labs for the alleged antenna problems, and their conclusions are that the problems are 100% legit, and that it’s not a “software” error as Apple suggested.

Apple has announced that they’ve sold an impressive 1.7 million iPhone 4s in the first 3 days alone. Steve Jobs himself said in an announced:

“This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history. Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply”

Yep, the iPhone 4 is that popular. Analysts originally predicted 1.5 million units sold, which we though was an overestimate. Apparently it was an underestimate.

Apple has released iOS 4 operating system for the iPhone and iPod touch today. The new OS includes a ton of features, most importantly, multi-tasking. The new operating system is available for free and is compatible with iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS models, and second- and third-generation iPod touches.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg recently got an iPhone, and posted on his Facebook page how he needed several chargers to compensate of the bad battery life, and said the he got a land line so he could make phone calls. We feel you, Mark.
