Well, at least that’s what I’m thinking of doing with this blog.
This holiday season has been a crazy ride. I spent hundreds of dollars in the past month on gifts for my friends and families. Then there’s the plan of getting a new car (my first car). In the past few weeks, I’ve done nothing but spend, spend, spend.
Now don’t get me wrong. Yes, this blog does make a lot of money every month, but I’d also like to start new projects that I always had in mind. I’d also like to start expanding on projects that I’m currently working on, like PPC marketing to be more specific. SlyVisions has taken up a lot of my time, and I think the time has come to let go of it and pass it on to someone else.
So that’s all I have to say for now guys and gals. I know a lot of questions are going to be asked, so go ahead. Â Just remember, this is just a thought I’m having. I’ll just tell you this right now… I’m 85% sure that I’m going to sell SlyVisions.

Hi, Sly:
Do you have other blogs, or is this you’re only one? It’s a fantastic blog and if you do go ahead with the sale of it, i’m sure it will do well. And someone is going to walk away with a good web property.
I do wonder how much you make with it. If it’s a really solid monthly amount, i would keep it and optimize further to garner even more revenue. Why let go of a good thing. And if it ain’t broke, why fix it. You know.
But time is a problem for most people. As in not enough time.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.
Cheers,
Missy.

I actually do have another blog, and I have other blogs in other niches that I plan to start. It’s one of the main reasons why I want to let go of this one.

If you do decide to sell that will be another one of my favourite bloggers selling this week! there must be something in the water…so it will be pepsi all day till it passes
But you have to way up the options and if there is more money to be made elsewhere then maybe thats what you should do…
best of luck either way!

OH wow. This is news to me!
WACK! But you gotta do what you gotta do….why not just let it chill and update when you want to lol…if it’s really making you money I don’t see the point in selling…just blog less lol.

Haha. Just blog less? Well, that’s the problem. This is not the type of niche where I can just “blog less”. If it was a blog with a totally different niche, everything would be waaaayyyy easier. But with internet marketing blogs like SlyVisions, it’s almost impossible to “blog less” without having to make my readers very sad.

Your so right Sly. In this niche, you need to be posting at Least three times a week, that’s a minimum. If you want your site to grow at all. It’s really annoying, and demanding but such is life. It seems like a lot of blogs are selling. Let’s just hope you can find a good writer to replace you.

Sad to see another blogger leaving. But like what Joe said, consider reducing the number of posts per week while still keeping it. Or try to find another co-author to help you with the content.
All the best.

Sorry to hear that your gonig to be selling your blog Sly. If it’s all the better for you than thats good news! I just hope all is going well on your end.
If your not prepared to handle a blog than selling it is a very wise choice. It takes a lot of work and effort to take care of a blog if you want to make something out of it.

I don’t think it’s really about the value of MMO blogs. People like me and Jason from TUK just don’t have the time we used to have to manage our blogs.

What the hell is happening this week? Everyone selling their MMO blog.
That was to be expected to be honest. I’m not talking about your blog, but MMO blogs in general. This niche is so frickin weird…
