As some of you have noticed I haven’t updated in quite a few days. Being a student, I always have other priorities that need to be taken care of. In effect I have not had the time to implement the methods and strategies that I planned to do to win the RSS competition between 4 other blogs and bloggers. I’m afraid that I am now waiving the white flag. In my opinion, this competition is now neck and neck between to blogs: The University Kid and Internet Babel. Looking at their RSS subscribers now, The University Kid has a growth of 116 while Internet Babel has a growth of 109. There is still about 4 days left in this competition so let’s just wait and see who ends up winning this whole thing.
Now that I’ve been really busy, I am in need of guest posters (or even permanent contributors). If you’d like to send in a guest post for this blog, just email it to me from the Contact page. You can link back to your own blog with that guest post if you’d like. If you want to be a writer/contributor for the blog, just let me know. Anyway, I’ll try to get back to my regular posting frequency whenever I can.

Shame you couldn’t participate to the fullest but it’s been a nice battle and a fun contest. Next time, eh?
Yes, of course.
Im truely sorry to hear that you are waving the white flag in this competition but at times we have so many other things to do we get behind in other things we want so much to accomplish. At least you tried. Good luck..

@ lilyruth - The winners are decided upon on a monthly basis. Since February already ended, there is now a new prize up for grabs. Oh and go ahead and check out this post to see who won last month’s $10.
Oh well, that sucks. I guess you have to get your priorities right and do what youve gotta do. But, even though you wont win, I’m sure you have gotten yourself a few more readers who will be back a lot. What methods would you have used to try and win?
