Say Hello To Your Visitors
A great wordpress plugin that allows you to say hi to visitors referred from specific sites is available. This plugin overcomes one of the issues with blogs that attract new visitors - that of personalization. Now while this won’t exactly greet them by name it does allow for a little personalization and that can go a long way to converting someone from being a casual browser to being a regular reader.
The Plugin is called Referrer Detector and the output from it looks like this:
As you can see what it allows you to do is create unique welcome messages based on the site that the visitor was referred from. What is really nice is the flexibility of this plugin, allowing you to go so far as to place an adsense advertising box in your greeting that targets new visitors and therefore increases your CTR. This is definitely a plugin worth looking into.
