Official iPhone Twitter app released

After acquiring Tweetie, Twitter was expected to turn it into the official Twitter iPhone app, and today, it has done just that. The Twitter app is actually Tweetie 3.0, but will henceforth simply be known as the official Twitter iPhone app. It brings a slew of new features, and is now available for free download. Twitter is expected to release the app for Android early next month.
