Newcomers, Don’t Forget To Submit Your Blog To Search Engines

Bear with me, experienced folk in the audience. This one’s specifically for the new guys (and gals, if you want to be precise in the language) today.

I know you veterans out there understand the idea of submitting your blog to search engines and giving yourselves that extra push in building traffic. I know you’re well aware of how important it is to do that, and how it can not only give you traffic spikes but also improve your rankings, help you get links and trackbacks, and help you push your bottom line up as well as give you a source of steady reliable readership. I know that.

That’s why I’m apologizing to you up front. See, it’s not just the veterans that come here. We’ve also got the next generation of bloggers looking for tips and advice, so this one is just for them today. You know I give you plenty of good advice too…so today, let’s just spare a thought for the folks just getting started.

I didn't think it was necessary to submit your blog to search engines in 2009? From my experience… Wordpress does a great job on its own of getting your website to be crawled by search engines… Just a thought is all…

Yes, it's not necessary to submit your blog to search engines. If your blogs update frequently so, search engines are crawl automatically your blog.

thanks for the lists, but i am not wasting my time submit my new blogs or websites into search engines and it not necessary to do it.

in my opinion, just keep on link building then, the spider of search engine will index and rank your blog high

i think it is not important if you will submit your blog to search engine, let the search engine crawler spider index your blog

I thinks google and bing.com is most important search engines.In my opinion bing will bigger than google in 2-3 years.

You do not have to submit your blog to search engines guys, if you submit your blog to google it will take it longer to get indexed, like a week or two. If you use wordpress all you have to do is set up a couple ping services (technorati will do just fine) and you will be indexed in a couple of days….that is only if have a post or two..

you can ping the sites.if show times out, maybe the hosting is not worked.
