After winning my latest blog contest, Karlo from Pinoy Blogero has earned his way to this free blog review. Myself being born in the Philippines, it’s really cool seeing other Filipinos (or Pinoys as we’re called) blogging on the internet. Although the Pinoy Blogero (blogger) focuses on the Filipino blogosphere, he actually writes for everyone. Karlo himself even admitted that the blog is getting out of focus in terms of the topics to cover about the Pinoy blogosphere. He has written more posts about blogging than anything else. Oh, and they are top-quality by the way.
I’m Not Filipino. Can I Still Read Pinoy Blogero?
Of course! Like I said, he actually writes more stuff about blogging and all that stuff than the Filipino blogging community. Check out this little excerpt from his About page.
This is a blog that is focused on the world of blogging in general but also has some interest on one particular side of the blogosphere, the pinoy blogging community. PinoyBlogero talks about the different topics about blogging, like its history, the pinoy blogging community, its effects, its usefulness and every little thing in between. It even throws some useful tips and guides along the way.
If you like what you see on other blogs that you already read, you’d be surprised to see the top-quality posts that Karlo writes. Listed below are my favorites.

If you’re a Filipino, you’ll love seeing the great community at Pinoy Blogero. And if you’re Filipino and don’t think you be interested in the blog, then you might want to check out his other project, BlogComics.net, where you will find really cool comics about blogging. Here’s one below.
Like it? Then go head over to BlogComics.net for more. All the comics were made for you to share on your own blog. In fact, every comic has an embed link set up right below it for easy sharing.
Other than that, enjoy the Pinoy Blogero!

I checked out that blog and really liked the comics. Both that, and your blog have now made it onto my Google Reader.
Zac Davis’s last blog post..The Magic of Blogging
Yes! I love that blog! Proud to be Pinoy!
actually this blog and Pinoy Blogero blog is very similar to each other (template wise) the header the comment form, the plug-ins, even the sidebar arrangement!
(we’ll just my observation)
Yeah, those both use the same theme, but the blogs have very different feels to them.

Thanks a lot for the great review! ^_^ Though I don’t think non-Filipino would be able to relate with my latest posts, I tried to make it as pinoy-centric as possible. Thank you and happy blogging!
@julia That is because we are using the same template. I just modified it a little to suit my taste.

Karlo, I don’t think you blog is entirely pinoy centric, though, and there’s plenty of content to keep me interested.

One thing I like about Pinoy Blogero is the images used.

Hey Sly,
You mentioned that you’re from the Philippines. Have you heard of Carl O Cab? You might want to network with him.
Hafiz Dhanani’s last blog post..Welcome to Ask A Blogger
I’d have to disagree that this was a good review. I didn’t find anything written here that would get me interested in clicking the blogger’s link. I think you should have pointed out what makes you interested in checking out this guy’s blog and not just list some previous posts. It makes this “review” look more like an advert.
I’m pretty sure his blog “may” be worth a look but this “review” is too vague to get me interested. It looks like you just wrote something to give the guy’s due. Didn’t do a job at it.
@ Hafiz - Yes, I know who he is.
@ CallCenterVet - If you can write a better review, I’ll take your advice.
It is a nice blog that deals with different blogging tips
