Meebo is a web-based messenger that lets you access your IM service from your web browser. It supports MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Google Talk, Jabber, and ICQ. You can sign on one account, two, three, or all accounts at the same time. What I like about Meebo is its very nice interface. Everything is in one tab (or window) including your IM boxes. Meebo is perfect to use when the computer you’re using doesn’t have an instant messaging application.

Meebo is a great alternative if you have firewall in your company’s system. I can’t run the YM client so I use meebo to access Yahoo Messenger.
