A lot of people out there have websites. From the last blog post, I have taught you an easy way of getting one. What most people don’t know is that they can make easy money from them. It might not be much, but it surely is good enough if you have a lot of site traffic. What I’m going to talk about is one of those ad programs.
First of all, ad programs are the most common way is to get money from your site. Yes, it does make your site “ugly”, but it’s worth it. Ads are in a pay-per-click setup. When people click on them on your site, you get payed for a fraction of that company’s revenues. They are easy to set up– just put in the HTML code they give you on your site, and it’s ready for people to click on. For this article, we’re going to focus on one of them called Text Link Ads.
Text Link Ads can improve your sites traffic and search engine rankings if you BUY ads from them. But if you want to make money, you SELL ads (but not literally). All you do is post the HTML code given to you. That code is a link that sends the user to a website. What you’re basically doing is referring people to some services and companies by putting those companies’ ads on YOUR site. And what happens after people are lured into these ads and buy or sign up for whatever it was they clicked for? Well, you make money. Text Link Ads payments are sent using PayPal with a $25 minimum payout every month (IF you have reached $25).
