The new money-making service today that bloggers and other webmasters are starting to use is something similar to Chitika called WidgetBucks. It is a new advertising network that pays per click. What’s that mean? Well, you get paid everytime someone clicks on the little widget. By my first look of this cool widget, I noticed that it is huge in terms of size. The smallest ad unit is 468×60. Check out the rectangular 320×250 example below. Just by looking at it, you are probably already getting hooked up to using it for your own site and I can’t blame you. It is very easy to use since it shows the best price available for any category that you input, plus there is also a feature in which you can title your ad unit. As you can see from mine, I have set it to “SlyVisions dot Com”.
Is It a Go Or a No?
Since the advertising network is pretty new, there is no reason for bloggers and webmasters to turn this down. One of the cool things about it is its CPM of $3-$5. Also, if you are new to WidgetBucks and register, you automatically get $25 in your account. That means that you are halfway there before getting paid! Yes, the minimum payout is $50 (like AuctionAds), but that’s nothing compared to others like Google Adsense in which you have to earn $100 before getting paid. So I’d say it’s a go. If you haven’t signed up yet, go ahead and do so now. If other monetization strategies did not work for you, having another one with WidgetBucks might help.

I haven’t really incorporated it here lately. But I think I’ll start to since other product ad services are not converting much.
