In fact, if you’re tired of reading blogs that claim to “make money online” or give tips about internet marketing, go and start checking out DP. Users from the forum are just as good (or even better) as bloggers who claim to be experts on the field.
How Can You Make Money?
There are many ways to make money online with Digital Point. If you’re a really good graphic designer, you can post a thread letting users know that you can design things like logos and banners. If you have something to sell like an eBook that you made, you can easily make money from that too. Oh, remember my post on how to make $50 a day selling domains? Well, guess where I sell the domains? You got it!
Another way to make money from DP is by posting up your advertisement offers for your site. If you are always looking for advertisers that want to sponsor your site/blog, DP is the perfect place to look.
Tips, Tips, Tips
Before you get started (if you’re new to the forum), here’s a few tips for you.
- Post, Post, Post. The more posts you have, users will see that you are a serious member and not just a spammer. If you post 5-10 a day, you can easily get your post number up.
- It’s all about reputation. Just like anything else in life, your reputation is what makes people judge you. Other than getting your post numbers up, it’s also important to increase what’s called your iTrader rating. Each iTrader is a feedback that you get from a user after a transaction. The more iTraders you have, the more people will work with you. If you are going spend a lot of time at the Buy, Sell, Trade page of DP, never forget to ask for an iTrader from people you work with. So let’s say you sell an eBook to someone. After the transaction, ask that user to leave you an iTrader so they can leave you a short feedback/rating.
- Follow the rules. Every forum has rules and this one is very strict about them. I made a lot of mistakes when I first started out and yes, I did get a few infractions. Make sure you know the rules of the forum before doing anything else.
- Don’t just sell, buy. You will see a lot of people selling different types of things. If the offer sounds good, take it. Trust me. You can find something very valuable in anything that you buy. Oh, and you also can ask for an iTrader just for buying.
Remember, don’t get overwhelmed with thinking that you will never be a reputable member or that you will never be able to get hundreds of post. I was the same when first starting out, but when I discovered that Digital Point was a gold mine, I had to keep up my reputation and iTraders. Just follow those simple tips and you can be on your way to making money from a great community.

Pricing is pretty competitive, so you gotta be sure not to charge too much or you won’t get work.
DigitalPoint is overall excellent for promotion/getting jobs/finding work/etc. The sheer amount of webmasters there obviously makes it a place worth joining.
