After a few busy days in my personal life, I have experienced something that I will keep experiencing as the year goes by. School is coming up and surely I will not have as much time spending on this blog than I did this whole summer. That’s why I am giving you bloggers the chance to write for this blog. Before you say “Oh whatever it’s just more work”, think of the benefits first that other guest bloggers are already getting from blogs they are writing for.

So before I move on to the guidelines of who can guest blog and how, let me go over the benefits of why guest blogging is a big deal in the blogosphere.

Get a Link Back To Your Own Site
Usually most guest bloggers are allowed to link back to their site in some way. This is going to be the case here at SlyVisions.com. What a better way to expose your site than to link back to your own? Guest bloggers can link back to their site by introducing themselves at the beginning of the post. An example would be something like “This guest post was submitted by ______ from _______.com”. Linking back to your site means more visitors and potential loyal readers.

Show What You Got
A guest post shows what a blogger is capable of. When readers see your post and like it, they’re more likely to visit your own site and check it out. If you think you’re a good blogger why not show it on other blogs other than your own?

So what are the requirements to write a guest post on this blog? Well, not much! All I really require is this one little thing– your post should be relevant to my other posts. Got a blogging tip? That’s perfect! A Windows trick? That would be good too! Just make sure to check the categories to see if it’s right for this blog. If it can be put in there, it’s a good post.
