There are many things that you should be doing to have optimal SEO on your blog. I agree that naming is very important. Also, be sure to include many related keywords that are very similar to your main idea of your blog. This in turn will strengthen the blog as a whole.

Right on point a blog name is really helpful in making your blog rank on search engines but sadly many bloggers makes the same mistake of naming their blogs. I think its important that before you start with a blog do a research first on keywords of your chosen niche and use it on naming your blog.
