India develops $35 tablet


Sure, the iPad is a “magical” device”, but it also costs $500. India is known for making things cheaper than the rest of the world, including tech.

Now Indian minister Kapil Sibal unveiled a tablet which costs $35. It comes with a 7 inch screen, and features a web browser, PDF reader, office software, media player and a bunch of other stuff you’d expect.
