People ask me all the time how they can really make money online. My answer? Spend some time learning how the internet business works. First of all, making money online is one simple system: helping other companies and products gain more exposure. The way I look at the internet, there are 3 bases to making money on the internet: selling products, helping others advertise their products, and referring others to those products. That’s where selling, advertising, and referring can make people and business some extra income.
Selling Products
OK, so you got your idea or product finally finished. Now what? You sell it! This is the easiest way that a company or individual can make money online or offline. Meanwhile, sites like eBay give users an easy way to create their own business. Even without their own products users can sell their “trash”, which is another user’s “treasure”. Anyway, since selling is self-explanatory, there’s no need for me to go over what it’s about, so let’s move on.
Advertisements
Websites can make easy money through a simple system: advertisements. Through advertisements, they help companies gain exposure with their products. Whether it’s through banners, text-links, reviews, or PPC (Google AdSense for example), a website can get paid through advertisements. Just like how tv stations make money by commercials, these types of advertisements are the base to making money.
Affiliate Marketing
Ahhh. Surely you would know what I’m talking about. Many money-making services not only help you make money through their main system, but also by referring others to sign up with them. That’s why referrals are connected to advertisements, which are then connected to products/services. That’s why internet services would pay you to refer others because they make money from your referrals as well. Since you’re helping the companies gain more exposure by referring others, it could be a simple way to make an extra income.
So is that where it ends? For those that know more and have a better insight about making money online, you know that there is surely many more ways to earn money on the internet (legally). Selling, advertising, and referring are not the only ways to make an extra income, but they are just simply the base of the pyramid.

The three you mentioned is the way to make money online but you have to include that you also have to know how to write good ads are they will not approve you nor pay you and you have to have a good page rank in order to get those paid jobs to post and write ads.
