Get Out Of Your Home Office
This is a tip that most people don’t often think of, and it’s one that actually serves me well once a week or so.
Pack up your laptop, grab your car keys, and go somewhere else.
I do this once a week, like I said–I personally favor a little coffee shop with great WiFi and great people. Because it’ll make them super happy, I’ll even tell you it’s called Tree Of Life. If you ever get the opportunity, and you’re in Centreville Michigan for some reason, stop in. it’s entirely too awesome. It’s also a quiet place to settle in for an afternoon and work.
This does several things for you–one, it gives you a new environment to work in. When you shake up your surroundings you get a new perspective on things, and who knows where a new perspective will lead in terms of blog posts? It also gives you something to look forward to, to break up the week that can seem like an endless litany of write-and-post.
Sure, you ahve to be careful that you don’t use the distraction to break your concentration–you’ll lose time that way and that never helps. But if you’re a little careful, a trek midweek can be a productive treat.

I really like this idea, I work from home and sometimes it can feel to isolated in a box room but having the chance to work anywhere does offer a lot of freedom. I am going to charge my laptop up today and go out tomorrow - I would imagine it helps you think

I built my son an extremely clean looking desk from files-metal-black and a hollow core door. You could make a corner unit by hooking them together with metal attachments underneath to make a corner unit.

I primered and painted it black with oil paint and got him a nice chair. The hole for the doorknob is perfect to run cords thru. I did make 2 small box forms to cap the file drawers out of pine-glued them with gorilla glue andnailed and sanded them.

If this is your business and you're self-employed, there should be no limitation on the mileage, unless you accidentally have it set to where you take actual expenses (fuel, oil, repairs, depreciation, etc.).

That's why you MUST be sure you can work in the place where you plan to go. The first word in "work remotely" is WORK.

This surely gives you a good change. And yeah, as you said, Tree of Life, is really efficient.
I've tried this earlier. But, there aren't many places where wi-fi are installed in here.
