After reading all the blog posts about Entrecard, I have finally decided to give it a try. The whole concept is still kind of confusing, but hopefully I’ll learn everything there is to learn about it. I won’t really be talking about the system since blogs all over the blogosphere already have, so if you have no clue what Entrecard is, go ahead and take a look at their video from their site or read any of the posts below from other bloggers.

Anyway, take a look at the sidebar and you’ll see the widget right under the search bar. I’ve put it in the highest position in my two-column sidebar for maximum exposure. As of right now, you will only need 2 credits to advertise here so get your spot as soon as possible! As the days past by, it’s going to cost you more to “advertise” here in the future (or you can just purchase a 125×125 sponsored button 
).

I’ve found it to do a very good job of bringing in traffic as people click to drop cards. It’s kind of like a mini-StumbleUpon in that most people move on quickly while a few do stick around, click ads and Stumble or Digg your posts.

yup..although that entrecard is a little bit small but it is very convenient.

Although I don’t want to sound like a party-buster, but I have some serious doubt over the concept and the execution.
First thing is that, it takes too much time to visit other blogs and drop the cards, that soon people will find it not worthy.
Soon the queues will be so ling, that they will not be able to drive meaningful traffic to you.
May be I am missing a point or two here, but still I see the idea not clicking for long after the initial euphoria dies down, just like BlogRush.

web tools you are totally right, you are looking at this from the correct point of view. Entrecard is worthless, you can not have a system where you gain credits by visiting another site mmm traffic exchange hellooo not one has survived because people soon realize that they are really advertising to each other so what is the use. As with most fads this will die soon.

@ Vic - After a few days of being with Entrecard, I am starting to see exactly what you and Web Tools are trying to say for the exact same reasons. I don’t think that it will last long as well.

I’m just hearing about this one. Looks decent, but it has a 0 PR. I’ll have to wait and see how effective this program is. There sure are a lot of these out there.

I have seen this all over other sites but never really paid attention to it but now I shall go and check it out and see what its about and if its as good as you say I will probably get in on this action. Thanks for the information.

Yeah, entrecard is a good way to get a good free advertising. In fact I personally made a review of the site in my personal blog. I still have to make a deep test on this new tool.
