Find & Fix Broken Links
One of the signs of a well organized, well run blog, in my opinion, is the fact that all the links work. Especially on things like the blogroll. However, I know how much work it can be to keep all of these links current and ensure that they are not broken.
That is why using a plugin to do it is a much better and easier way of making sure that your blog has a well maintained appearance. Using Broken Link Checker you are able to parse all your existing posts for broken or missing links. Obviously how long this takes depends on how many posts you have on your site.
The results show up under a new option in the admin panel - Tools - Broken Links. Its that straightforward, now you have no excuses for not keeping up with your links.

I agree with you. broken link make a bad impression on others/ readers so i check all the link before posting any post on the blog.

The main problem with these broken link checker program is that, they save information from our site like e-mail and form submission urls, then they sell it to spammers. I suggest we should remove e-mail address from our website before running these type of programs on our site or put e-mail address like this name(@)domain.com , instead of name@domain.com In this way, the automatic program will send all spam at name(@)domain.com, which will bounce back.
