What happened to my subscribers? Last time I checked yesterday, I had over 240. Now it’s down 100 sitting at 140. Is this just a Feedburner glitch? If anyone else is experiencing the same thing, please let me know.

Mine went from a stable 100ish to 66. WTF?

Rest assured that it’s just Feedburner. I’m experiencing the same thing as well.

I’m sorry to tell you this Sly but 100 of your subscribers told me they were going to unsubscribe.

it seems this happens to a group of blogs at a certain time. I am saying this because, I just noticed blogs with below 1000 subscribers had lower subscribers number showing, but blogs with high subscribers still retained their numbers. But like last week, I noticed, problogger and some other blogs lost subscribers but they are back this week.

Yeah, I have noticed this from time to time. Sometimes, its the way the numbers are extracted from feedburner. But they are a fantastic service.

This is actual problem with Google feedburner. You can easily manipulate google feedburner count by simple coding. It is perfect black hat technique. But I don’t like it… Like this there are too many lacunae with Feedburner.

I notice (now that I watch like a hawk) that between 12-4am PST (my time), Feedburner’s stats screws up for a couple hours while it “updates the numbers from the day before). It’s like clockwork in my account, always showing less at the same time for a while daily. Usually doesn’t affect my feedburner display on my site though.
TONS of bloggers complain about this same problem, so I wouldn’t worry.
Cheers!
