SlyVisions For Sale…

Well, at least that’s what I’m thinking of doing with this blog.

This holiday season has been a crazy ride. I spent hundreds of dollars in the past month on gifts for my friends and families. Then there’s the plan of getting a new car (my first car). In the past few weeks, I’ve done nothing but spend, spend, spend.

Now don’t get me wrong. Yes, this blog does make a lot of money every month, but I’d also like to start new projects that I always had in mind. I’d also like to start expanding on projects that I’m currently working on, like PPC marketing to be more specific. SlyVisions has taken up a lot of my time, and I think the time has come to let go of it and pass it on to someone else.

So that’s all I have to say for now guys and gals. I know a lot of questions are going to be asked, so go ahead. Just remember, this is just a thought I’m having. I’ll just tell you this right now… I’m 85% sure that I’m going to sell SlyVisions.

Comment King of November 2008

First of all, I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving! I know I did. Oh, and you guys are taking advantage of the holiday season right? The holidays is a big money-maker especially when it comes to affiliate marketing. Make sure you get something started!

The Sly Guy is Back!

Finally, after a long long wait, the Sly Guy is back!

For those of you that don’t know, the Sly Guy is the SlyVisions cartoon mascot. When I first introduced him, he was simpler and in 2D, created by a promotional tool by Burger King called Simpsonize Me. The results were good, but it was too simple. He needed more interactivity.

So for only under $100, I got the Sly Guy redesigned by a freelance designer. The first thing we worked on was adding some interactivity to the mascot. We kept the sunglasses because…well, it made him sly (no pun intended). Also, you will see that he is now holding a laptop (SlyVisions branded) with some cash coming out of the screen. Why is there cash coming out of it? Well, just think about the slogan of SlyVisions:

The Internet Through An Entrepreneur’s Eyes

Put together a guy with a suit and sunglusses, a laptop + cash to compliment it, and you get a perfectly interactive cartoon mascot.

So what do you guys think of the new Sly Guy?

By the way, I’d like to thank Jay for helping me getting the Sly Guy up at the header. After struggling on doing it myself, Jay had offered to help me out. The cartoon would still be behind the curtains right now if it wasn’t for Jay. Thanks man!

Comment Queens Of October 2008

UPDATE: The original version of this post had a Comment King and a Comment Queen. But I had just found out that both winners are Comment Queens! I have fixed this post to reflect that.

First of all, I hope everyone had a fun Halloween weekend! Anyway another month has just passed so it’s time to announce the Comment King of October 2008!

Oh wait. I almost forgot that there are suppose to be two Comment Kings for October. In fact, both of them are not kings… but queens.

The Comment King and Queen Queens

Congratulations to Sherry and BM for being last month’s Comment Queens! Sherry had over 100 comments that put her on top of the list, which also gave her a good chance of winning. Over 100 comments?!?! Tell me that’s not a lot.

Meanwhile, BM was #2 on the list with over 20 comments but also claimed the #2 spot in terms of randomly getting picked for the Comment King Queen drawing. Where Is The Sly Guy?

A lot of you have been wondering what happened to The Sly Guy, the cartoon mascot for SlyVisions. So let me answer that question in public. Basically, I’ve decided to finally revamp him with a new 3D and more interactive look. Right now he’s just a simple 2D cartoon, so I’ve decided not to put him up anymore until I get the new one.

So keep an eye out for the new Sly Guy! He will finally make an appearance in the next few days.

September of 2008 has just ended and October is upon us. But the end of September means that it’s time to announce a new Comment King!

The Comment King of September 2008 is… Danny Cooper! With only 12 comments that gave him 12 tickets in the random drawing, he beat all odds by becoming this month’s Comment King. Experiencing Server Downtime
