Bored? Randomly Surf the Web With StumbleUpon
I know that a lot of you have experienced this. You use your computer to go to your usual sites like a certain forum, or maybe just check out your email. Then you surf the web for a while… a few minutes later, you have nothing else to find or do on the web even though it’s almost impossible to say that because there are always things to find. With StumbleUpon, that’s what you basically do. You stumble upon sites by clicking a single button on your toolbar. It’s another way (and a cooler way) to surf the web.
So what is it? StumbleUpon is a toolbar for Internet Explorer or Firefox that lets you go to a site based on your category and tagging preferences. For example, after I signed up and installed the toolbar (which took only about 30 seconds by the way), it asked me to pick the categories that I prefer to go to when I use StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon will only surf sites that are in the same categories as your preferences. Other than sites, you can also search for videos, pictures, and other people based on your interest.

I love StumbleUpon! I browse random pages just like flicking channels on the remote!
