I agree totally. Being a guest blogger has some many benefits it’s a wonder why more people don’t do it. This is especially a good idea if you are someone who writes a lot of articles.

I’m not yet considering the idea of a guest blog. I still need to build my credibility. A lot has been said about it and I’m very willing to embrace it in a proper time.

I think I have to settle at hitting and burying (in-laws) and hiding for a while. :-))

Here are my top 3 reasons I do guest posts:

Credibility:When someone writes a good post on a big blog, he is seen as authority figure. This helps a lot.
Traffic: Usually, Guest Posts may send good and targeted traffic. If your blog is good enouigh, you can get some subscribers!
SEO: Most people allow at least 3 links(to writers blog) in a guest post. You can use whatever anchor you want. This helps a lot in SEO.
