9 Things Your Blog Is Missing - Part Two

Following right on from the last post, the second 3 of 9 things that your blog is missing and are stopping it from being successful.

The right posting schedule - There is no secret sauce for blogging schedules, it should be determined by your readership. This takes work, you need to do some testing. Maybe actually ask your readers, conduct a poll on your blog, involve the readership and then meet their needs.

Questions - A blog that asks no questions of its readers really isnt interested in them. A readership that feels it is not important to the blog will leave, after all why should they stay. Asking questions in your posts provides your audience with the opportunity to get invovled with your blog and actually feel like they are part of it.

Answers - Of course if all your posts do is simply ask questions and never provide any answers then your readers will get bored with it, after all they come to your blog looking for answers too. So make sure you are solving some of their problems.

This is a great post. Blogs that don't post on a schedule are pretty lame.

I think that it is great when bloggers respond to the questions that their readers have, or post in response to points that have come up.
