There are times when bloggers have nothing left to blog about for some reason. They are either thinking too hard of what to post next, or they just can’t think of what to blog about at all. Here are 10 things you can do when you have nothing else to blog about. If you have more to add, leave a comment!
- Find a great story you found on Digg and write about it.
- Post videos relative to your site.
- Write a post made especially for linking to other sites (like my “Quick Links” for example).
- Write a review of another site that you like.
- Post a “Question to the readers” article.
- Add sites that you like on your blogroll.
- Go back to your old posts and edit them for good SEO.
- Blog about you’re successes in blogging so far.
- Write a paid-post from services like PayPerPost and ReviewMe.
- Brainstorm what you’re going to blog about for the next few days.

You could always blog about nothing too, I read a post by a girl who did nothing but describe some belly button lint. She made a production of it, looking at it in her belly button, pulling it out slowly, describing it… the pictures were a blast. Sometimes nothing is lots.

I usually check out Google News to see what’s happening in the world. There’s sure to be something absurd or annoying that I’ve just got to post about.
Then there’s Tailrank. That’s a good site because it tells you what the most blogged about stories are, listing the blog posts about them. And if you get in early and post about one of these hot stories, there’s a chance your blog will be listed also. So you get a free backlink for your effort.

Hi all,
I never run out of things to blog about because I have installed blog talk monitor. It is a free application and it is by Jack Humphrey’s (10 year vet)
It monitors the whole web for you and lets you know the minute a new blog or news article has been published on your keywords. It is your personal spy.
Check it out on my blog in the freebie category. I guarantee you will never be stuck again.

It is great to read this to do list - it motivates you into action. It so many times happen that people do not know where to do what. Mainly because we are not planning to succeed.
The number 1 spot is filled with a blogging action plan that befits the first place. Another one could be looking at social bookmarking sites for the most popular postings.
